Response Options
What are Response Options?
When conducting an inspection, you have different ways in which you can respond to an inspection question.
Each response option has a name, percentage of compliance, and response action.
Response Options and their actions are fully customizable to react the way you would like them to.
Below are some examples of the different types of Response Options you can use for your questions.
Button:
A button response option can be used during inspections when there is a multiple-choice answer. i.e. Pass/Fail, Yes/No, Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory, Always/Usually/Sometimes/Never.
For example, if you are evaluating the state of how a doorknob handle is cleaned you may select one of the following:
Pass = 100% compliance, and no response action.
Fail = 0% compliance, and open a follow-up
N/A = excluded from the calculation
Numeric:
A numeric response option can be used when you are performing a count in an inspection, evaluator, or survey.
For example, if you are evaluating how many pest issues were found, you can input a numeric response option that will indicate how many issues were found when inspecting.
