What is a Topic?

A topic is a specific item you are evaluating. (i.e. If your question is room outer doorknob is clean? Then the topic of this item is the Door.) 

When you create a new topic, you must link the topic to its associated location models. Linking the topic to the location models that it is present in will allow this topic to show up during the inspection when this location model is selected. Click here for more information about Location Models.

When adding a topic to an inspection template, you must create a question which you will ask to evaluate on this topic. 

What is a Question? 

A question is what you are evaluating on this topic. What are you asking the Evaluator to access? (i.e. If the topic being evaluated is the door, the question could be "room inner door handle is clean?")

Summary

A topic is a specific item you are evaluating. Questions can then be created for your topics to be answered during the inspection.
