How to edit Location Models - Linking Topics
Want to see what Topics are linked to your Location Model and make any adjustments?
This article will show you how to edit an existing Location Model to ensure that the proper topics are displayed in your inspections.

Whether you are creating a new location model or editing an existing one, you MUST link the Topic to a Location Model in order for the Topic to appear in an inspection.

Below are the detailed steps on how to edit an existing Location Model and link it to its respective Topics.
- From your Dashboard, under the Setup module, click on the Location Model tab on the left-hand side of the Menu.
- Find the Location Model on the list that you wish to edit, or use the Search Bar.
- Click on the Pencil button on the location you wish to edit.
- Select or remove the Topics that you wish to have displayed in this location model, using the Available and Selected columns.
- Once the location model is updated, click on the Save button to add the Selected Topics.
Summary
When editing an existing Location Model, you MUST link the Topics to the respective Location Model in order for the Topic to appear in an inspection.
