How to Edit Topics - Linking Location Models
Want to see what Location Models are linked to your Topics and make any adjustments?
This article will show you how to edit an existing topic and link it to Location Models.

Whether you are creating a new topic or editing an existing topic, you MUST link the Location Models to the respective Topic, in order for it to appear in an inspection.

Below are the detailed steps on how to edit an existing topic and link it to its respective Location Models.
- From your Dashboard, under the Setup module, click on the Topics tab on the left-hand side of the Menu.
- Find the Topic on the list that you wish to edit, or use the Search Bar.
- Click on the Pencil button on the topic you wish to edit.
- Select or remove the Location Models that you wish to have displayed for this Topic, using the Available and Selected columns.
- Make sure the status is Active.
- Once the Topic is updated, click on the Save button to add the Selected Location Models.
Summary
When editing an existing Topic, you MUST link the Location Models to the respective Topic in order for the Topic to appear in an inspection.
