Location Models

What is a Location Model?

A Location Model is a standardized model for the type of location you are in. A Location Model will generalize the types of items you will see in the respected location. You will match up your location description to a Walsh Location Model.

For example, a doctor's office, an assistant's office, and a computer room share a lot of similar items within the room, (computer, desk, office chair, clock, etc.). By categorizing these rooms with the same location model called "Office", these different rooms will all share the same inspection items you will see in a general "office" type of room,(computer, desk, office chair, clock, etc.).

The purpose of using Location Models is to ensure the proper inspection items for that location will appear when performing an inspection without having to inventory each location individually. The location models will cover the majority of scenarios making for a much quicker and streamlined setup process.

Summary

Location Models group together items that should generally appear in that type of location.
