How to Add an Assignment

Need to add a new Assignment?  

You can create Assignments that link specific Inspection Templates, Location Models, Location Levels, Places, People, and Quotas together.

Below are detailed steps on how you can add new Assignments.

(Note: only Account Administrators can create assignments.)

How to Access and Create Assignments

  1. From your Dashboard, under the Setup module, click on the Assignments tab on the left-hand side of the Menu.
  2. At the bottom of your Assignment list, click on the Add button to create a new assignment.
  3. On the Add Assignment screen, you can create the assignment Name. (Note: The Assignment name should describe what this assignment will be used for, i.e. shift, type of inspections, where, who, etc).
  4. Click on the Inspection Template dropdown menu. Here you can select the inspection templates/checklists you wish to apply to this assignment.
  5. Click on the Location Model dropdown menu. Here you can select the specific Location Models you wish to apply to this assignment.
  6. Click on the Assignment Level dropdown menu. Here you can select the Location Level you wish to apply to this assignment. (i.e. Floor Level, Area Level, Room Level, etc.) (Note: This is the location level that the inspections will be performed at.)
  7. Click on the Places dropdown menu. Here you can select the locations you wish to apply to this assignment. (Note: Depending on the Assignment Level you have selected, you will only be able to choose locations that are applicable to that level.)
  8. Click on People to select the list of Operators, Evaluators, and Managers you wish to apply to this assignment.  The "Available" list is unselected and the "Selected" list will appear in this assignment.
  9. Click on the Quota dropdown to open up the Quota Settings. Here you can set up when the Quota will reset, the days when the quota will reset, the start date of the quota, and the inspection amount per Evaluator.   10. Once you have finished setting up the assignment, click on the Save button to create your assignment.

Summary

By using the Add feature for your assignments, you can easily create new assignments with specific Inspection Templates, Location Models, Location Levels, Places, People, and Quotas.
